Anticipation and preparations are nearing their height for the second annual Colgan Heritage Weekend, to be held in the Colgan Hall, Carndonagh, Co. Donegal on Friday, 29th June, Saturday, 30th June and Sunday 1st July. The schedule of events will be published in April and promises to be every bit as intriguing as that of the inaugural Heritage Weekend. The theme for 2012 is "Changing Times - Folklore to Facebook" and the Committee are working hard to ensure that all tastes are catered for. The 2011 weekend was not just a lesson in local history, it also inspired a look towards the future, typified by the launch of the Donegal App (Apple & Android devices), developed by local man, John Ward.
